About Us

Eddie has been involved in emergency response since 1988 and recently retired from his role as Clarke County’s Emergency Manager and Fire Coordinator. During his career, Eddie served in numerous roles at the local and state level, including MEMA as an Area Coordinator. During his career, he has managed the responses to and recoveries from tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, fires and transportation incidents. He has written numerous public and private sector emergency plans and has been involved in ____ Presidentially declared disasters, including Hurricane Katrina in 2005, serving in crucial roles and capacities. Most notably, he served as the Principle State Official during a tornado disaster that affected Northeastern Mississippi in 2002. 

Mr. Ivy holds many instructor certifications including American Heart Association BLS Instructor, Incident Command System Instructor, Volunteer Firefighter Level I and II, Extrication to include heavy rescue and ALCS/PALS to name a few.
